Covergirl Outlast: Midnight Magic

I have a complex little nail polish shade from Covergirl this time which I'll struggle to adequately describe...

 

I bought Midnight Magic several months ago, then put it away and did the old "out of sight, out of mind" thing and forgot about it.  Well honestly that was a silly thing to do because once I finally got this onto my nails I was mesmerized! Now how do I describe this? Up close there's the multi-faceted detail of individual specks of blue, gold and green as you can see in the pictures (the first one is most colour accurate) and yet from a distance it's as though I've coated my nails with graphite...
